Nikos Chrysanidis holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration (University of Macedonia) and a Master Degree in Tourism Management (University of Surrey). During the last stage of his postgraduate studies, he investigated the local entrepreneurs' perceptions of the economic impacts of cruise tourism on the region of Kavala. His research was published in May 2015 and won the 2nd Best Paper Award at the International Tourism Conference ISCONTOUR in Salzburg, Austria. Alongside consultancy and his duties in CHRISANIDIS S.A.,   he manages several vacation rentals in Nea Iraklitsa, Nea Peramos and Paralia Folia. He has also worked for the National Bank of Greece.
